DRIVE is a program that supports the overall development of high school dancers who want to make a difference in their communities through dance.
DRIVE is for all dancers. Members must take two dance classes (at any studio) or two school practices per week. Additionally, there will be two rehearsals per month at Elite Dance Academy in Broomfield to practice their competition and performance pieces.
DRIVE is different. Drive team members come together from High Schools and studios all over the North Denver area. They compete and perform in the community and also participate in service projects throughout the year.
To foster independence and life skills, DRIVE dancers are expected to keep track of the team schedule and assignment deadlines themselves. DRIVE team members will communicate directly with the director if they have concerns and vice versa. In addition, DRIVE dancers are expected to pay 10% of their monthly dues.
