Lindsey Boudreau, INSTRUCTORLindsey.jpg

Lindsey was born in Boulder and is currently a Junior at CU Boulder majoring in Environmental Science. She has danced for the Denver Outlaws for the past two years and has been dancing since she was two years old. She loves to hang out with friends and go out to eat on Pearl Street. Her favorite thing about Elite is how close everyone is and she is so happy to be teaching here.

Maria Meihaus, INSTRUCTORMaria_Staff (2).jpg

Like many others, Maria began dancing at a very young age. Recreational classes were always a part of childhood until the age of 11 when she chose to take things more seriously. In Littleton, Colorado, Maria danced for years at Belliston Academy of Ballet, finally joining the Pre-Professional Scholarship program, focusing primarily on becoming a professional ballerina. Trained and tested in the techniques of Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Cecchetti method, Maria received intense ballet instruction while simultaneously practicing tap, modern, jazz and tumbling. Continuing in the Pre-Professional Scholarship program for 3 years, Maria also participated in the Denver Ballet Guild competition annually. Upon entering high school, Maria joined the Columbine Varsity Poms team and competed at the regional, state, and national level each season. Another 3 years of solely pom dancing and Maria was missing the intense technique and artistry that only studio training could offer. For her senior year, Maria went back to studio life at Shelly True Dance academy in Littleton, where ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and tricking classes took priority. Competing again at the state and national level (Showstoppers, Move, KAR Las Vegas, etc.), Maria enjoyed the competitive dance curriculum for the entirety of high school. Currently attending CU Boulder as an MCDB major (Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology) and dance minor, Maria enjoys her mix of academic and artistic challenges.

2017 Staff Rachel Jordan.jpgRachel Jordan, INSTRUCTOR

Rachel has been a dancer since she was 3 years old, with main focuses in ballet and tap. Once she got into college, she found her passion to teach and explore new styles, and in the search of places to work and continue her passion, she found the Elite Dance Academy Family! She is currently studying two majors with CU Boulder: Dance and Psychology. She is studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, and a Bachelor's in Psychology, although will probably go for bigger degrees in these areas. She absolutely loves teaching and getting to help students learn more about these beautiful art forms that have changed her life in so many unbelievable ways. It is such an honor for her to be able to teach and to have her job be something that she loves and lives for. She believes that "the body says what words cannot", as Martha Graham says.
